![]() Blog Summary by Jenny Leigh Hodgins Watch the video here. Listen to the Podcast here. Switzerland-based Agnese Rudzate, certified as both a Quality Manager and an Empowerment Coach for women entrepreneurs, is constantly learning and improving her knowledge and skillset to serve her clients better. Especially now that the current pandemic has driven so many businesses online--Agnese encourages the creation of systems, structures, and processes. Whether you’re in business or not, her productivity tips are applicable. Overwhelmed with how many tasks you juggle in a day? Agnese emphasizes streamlining your day to focus on your highest priorities. She suggests a brain dump of every single task you do. Then she recommends organizing these tasks into categories. She encourages business owners to place those tasks that generate cash flow --or are most important to your business or your growth--in the category for highest priority. Once you’ve sorted through your mountain of tasks to find your priorities, Agnese spells out the next crucial step; Ask yourself, “If this is the only thing I accomplish today, will I be satisfied?” Another impactful tip she shared is to check in with yourself throughout your busy day with, “Am I being active or am I being productive?” Reflecting on your workflow regularly to ask these questions helps keep you focused on making the most progress. I laughed at how these tips hit the nail on the head for me, and told Agnese how I’ve researched and written blogs on this topic, yet, I still have to improve my ability to prioritize! I also have a FREE downloadable PDF that helps with prioritizing here. But I digress... I asked Agnese what motivates her to coach women toward productivity and empowerment. Her wish is for every woman to empower each other and this wish stands strongly behind everything that Agnese does. One way she recommends empowering yourself is to invest in yourself. Another way is by surrounding yourself with positive people who are on the same wavelength for mindset growth. “Reach out to your role models. It costs nothing and you stand to gain a lot.” Agnese refers to three women as her role models; Vanessa Moss, Marie Forleo, and Gabrielle Bernstein. She says Gabrielle speaks in a kind of spiritual tone, which resonates with Agnese even though she’s not spiritually-minded. Forleo is a household name among online women business owners as someone who leads the industry in teaching women how they can grow an online business. Moss appeals to her for the direct way she approaches things. Agnese likes getting straight to the point, too. On the subject of challenging oneself and what her past 6 months’ accomplishments have been, Agnese responded that she’s “proud of stepping out of my comfort zone and getting more visible online because it is a great way to serve more women in their needs for better productivity." "I am also proud of investing more and more in myself, my personal and professional growth because that is how I can share more of myself with the world.” Continuously Challenging Ourselves Is Fulfilling Agnese’s cheerful zest for self-improvement is a refreshing reminder for all of us that continuously challenging ourselves no matter what our age or situation is fulfilling and provides the way for greater confidence. She advises other women who are hesitant to get out of their comfort zone to get a coach for accountability. “Just do it!” She cautions however, to be selective in who you listen to, who you choose to work with. She says you must be discerning about what kind of person you connect with because “there’s a lot of noise out there.” We both agreed that mindset has a strong impact on our happiness and success. Agnese offers women the idea of training themselves to have a Queen Mindset toward the improvement of mindset, “Wear that crown and own it!” She stresses, “You are worthy. And that’s the end of it.” This is a powerful mantra for women, as most women tend toward a supportive, often subservient role in the spirit of nurturing others. However, Agnese and I agreed strongly on the importance of self-care practices for women. Her Queen Mindset analogy is a beautiful way for women to envision themselves in a positive, strong, confident leading role. Using Meditation and Sound For Better Productivity As a composer, pianist, songwriter, vocalist, I was particularly intrigued by Agnese’s inclusion of her meditations project within her coaching practice. She created 10 specific mediations and worked with a sound designer for the soundscape. Backed by research she’s done about how tonality and soundscapes impact mood, she incorporated the technology of sound to enhance the listener’s meditation toward a specific experience. Joining the meditation practice with the research-based soundscape, each meditation on her Meditations album is designated toward a particular goal; i.e., empowerment, motivation, clarity, and focus. Here’s a productivity tip Agnese advises women entrepreneurs incorporate for better workflow and success in their business; When you’re aiming to make a decision; “Listen to yourself. If you’re struggling, ask yourself, ‘Is this a hell yes?’ If not, it’s a hell no!” Her point is that the more our decisions align with our passions and values, the more clarity for our direction forward and toward progress. Instead of continuing to do things that don’t resonate with our purpose, this simple inner dialogue is a practice for clarity and focus. And if the answer is negative, we need to revisit our priorities so that the things we enjoy and value are what we spend more of our time on.
